According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the dichloromethane market fell slightly this week (8.8-8.15). As of August 15, the average price of dichloromethane bulk water in Shandong was 2,912 RMB/ton, compared with the price of 3,012 RMB/ton on last Monday, it fell 3.32%.
Analysis review
This week (8.8-8.15), the domestic methane chloride production started at 70% to 80%, and the supply side was still under pressure, which restricted the dichloromethane market.
This week (8.8-8.15) the spot price of methanol fell, and the cost side continued to weaken. According to the understanding of SunSirs, as of August 15, the spot price of methanol was 2,482 RMB/ton, down 2.52% from 2,546 RMB/ton on last Monday.
The downstream refrigerant R22 industry of dichloromethane was operating steadily, but recently was the traditional production off-season of terminal air-conditioning plants, and the actual demand had shrunk; coupled with the stable performance of foreign trade exports, the support for dichloromethane was stable and weak.
Market outlook
