SunSirs: Poor Demand, China Nitric Acid Price Fall

According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of nitric acid was 2,683 RMB/ ton on August 1, and 2,750 RMB/ ton on July 26, down 2.42%.
On August 1, the ex factory quotation of Anhui Jinhe concentrated nitric acid 98 was 2,950 RMB/ ton, which was 100 RMB/ ton lower than last week. The ex factory quotation of 68 nitric acid was 1,750 RMB/ ton, which was flat compared with last week. The shipment of nitric acid was not smooth. Ningxia Runxia Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 150,000 concentrated acids and 98 concentrated nitric acid. The ex factory quotation was 2,650 RMB/ ton, which is flat compared with last week. The manufacturer's quotation was very high, and the shipment of nitric acid was not good. Shaanxi Xinghua Chemical has an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of nitric acid. The quotation of concentrated nitric acid was 2,450 RMB/ ton, which was 100 RMB/ ton lower than last week. The downstream demand for nitric acid is poor, and the price is weak. It is expected that nitric acid in China will be dominated by weak operation.
