In July, the domestic spandex market price still maintained a downward trend. According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, as of July 28, the average market price of 40D specifications was 36,800 RMB/ton, down 12.80% from the beginning of the month and down 54.11% from the same period last year.
Analysis review
At present, some spandex manufacturers have reduced their burdens and production, and the industry's start-up has been reduced to 72%, but the inventory is still high and the market supply is sufficient.
The supporting role of the cost side has weakened, the raw material pure MDI market has declined, and traders are actively shipping, and the mainstream market quotations have been lowered. The market reference price was 20,300-20,500 RMB/ton. The start of the PTMEG industry fell by 56%, and the market price of 1800 molecular weight was 28,000-30,000 RMB/ton.
At present, the textile industry is in the off-season, and the high-temperature electricity consumption in the south is at its peak. Some downstream enterprises in Zhejiang Province have received notices of power cuts. At present, the operating rate of most weaving factories is at a low level, and the comprehensive operating rate of looms in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is maintained at around 50%. Follow-up on demand, demand has not recovered, and continued to decline.
