Analysis review
On July 18, Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual production capacity of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the price of paraformaldehyde (96) was 5,300 RMB/ton including tax. Dragged down by methanol, the price fell by 100 RMB/ton from the last time. Paraformaldehyde was in the traditional off-season, and the situation of shipping was general.
Shandong Formaldehyde Industry Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The price of 96 paraformaldehyde was 5,500 RMB/ton. The price was unchanged from the previous time. The paraformaldehyde market was acceptable.
Zibo Qixing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 5,150 RMB/ton. The quotation was the same as last time, the market was still acceptable, and there were many export orders.
According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average production price of domestic methanol was 2,665 RMB/ton on July 1, and the average production domestic methanol price was 2,566 RMB/ton on July 20, down 3.69%. On July 1, the average price of formaldehyde in Shandong was 1,270 RMB/ton, and on July 20, the average price of formaldehyde in Shandong was 1,206 RMB/ton, down 4.99%.
Market outlook
Since July, the methanol market has been weak, which has suppressed the price of paraformaldehyde. The paraformaldehyde analyst of SunSirs predicts that the paraformaldehyde may be lowered.
