SunSirs: Hydrogen Peroxide Calms Down After the Crash

On November 22, the hydrogen peroxide commodity index was 136.96, down 0.72 points from November 21, down 36.88% from 216.98 (2017-12-24), the highest point in the cycle, and up 90.91% from 71.74, the lowest point on August 3, 2016. (Note: cycle refers to 2011-09-01 to now).

According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, hydrogen peroxide rose by more than 10% in early November, and after the fall, it gradually recovered. The price of 27.5% hydrogen peroxide was 1286RMB/ton at the beginning of the week and 1266RMB/ton at the end of the week, down 1.55%.

Analysis review        

Market: Since November, the hydrogen peroxide market has been in a downturn and the price has fallen sharply. After a week of continuous decline, the price has been stable. As of November 22, the mainstream price of hydrogen peroxide in various regions is about 1200-1300RMB/ton, and the actual transaction price is negotiable.

Shandong area: Luxi Chemical 27.5% hydrogen peroxide price is 1160RMB/ton; Shandong Haineng 27.5% hydrogen peroxide price is 1320RMB/ton; the overall price dropped 20RMB/ton.

Hebei: the ex factory price of 27.5% hydrogen peroxide of Zhengyuan fertilizer industry fell to 1300RMB/ton, the price was flat.

Anhui Province: Anhui Jinhe 27.5% hydrogen peroxide price is 1500RMB/ton; Anhui Quansheng 27.5% hydrogen peroxide price is 1350RMB/ton, the price drops 50RMB/ton, the actual transaction price is about 1300RMB/ton.

Hunan: Hunan Shuangyang 27.5% hydrogen peroxide price is 1300RMB/ton; the price is the same.

Zhejiang Province: Zhejiang Pinghu satellite Petrochemical Co., Ltd. quoted price of 27.5% hydrogen peroxide of 1400RMB/ton, the price is the same.

Industrial chain: In November, the downstream of hydrogen peroxide caprolactam continued to decline, falling nearly 5% as of 22. Caprolactam was depressed by its own raw material price, the market was not good, manufacturers were cautious in purchasing hydrogen peroxide, the demand was low, the hydrogen peroxide market continued to decline, the rise was weak.

Market outlook

Hydrogen peroxide analysts believe that: in the short term, it is difficult for hydrogen peroxide market to have a large rise space, maybe it will continue to be stable, and the cold winter of hydrogen peroxide has come.
