SunSirs: Refrigerant Market Price Fluctuated Forward (July 4-8)

July 12 2022 15:03:17     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of July 8, the average price of refrigerant R22 was 16,833.33 RMB/ton, down 0.98% from the price of 17,000.00 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month, and up 0.20% compared with the same period last year.

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of July 8, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 21,666.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.56% compared with the price of 221,333.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month, and a decrease of 1.52% compared with the same period last year.

Analysis review

This week, the refrigerant R22 was running weak as a whole, and the company's offer was slightly lowered. The price of the raw material chloroform continued to decline within the month, the overall price of hydrofluoric acid was weak and stable, the cost of raw materials continued to decline, the overall wait-and-see attitude of the downstream was strong, and refrigerant companies were difficult to ship. Under the pressure of cost, the price of R22 has been stable and falling.

Since July, the overall price of upstream raw material hydrofluoric acid has been weak and stable. Summer is the traditional peak season for refrigerant demand. Under the support of downstream demand, the price of refrigerant R134a rose slightly this week.

In terms of raw materials, the domestic hydrofluoric acid price trend was generally stable and weak this week, and the continued weak adjustment of costs will suppress the domestic R134a price in the market outlook.

Market outlook

The Refrigerant Analyst of SunSirs believes that the price of refrigerant fluctuates slightly, and the prices of R22 and R134a fluctuate with each other. It is expected that there is still some room for the price of R22 to fall in the short term, and the price of R134a will fluctuate slightly at the current level as a whole.
