According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average domestic liquid CPL market price was 13,700 RMB/ton on July 4, and the average domestic liquid CPL market price was 13,600 RMB/ton on July 11. CPL prices fell 0.73% this week.

Analysis review

The raw material pure benzene market fell this week, and the cost support of CPL weakened. Most CPL manufacturers had equipment maintenance, and the enterprises were operating at low load. The demand side was cautious in purchasing, and the bearish mentality on the market was strong. As of July 11, the price of Sinopec CPL liquid was 15,600 RMB/ton. Baling Hengyi CPL liquid price was 14,800 RMB/ton, and the manufacturer's production capacity is 450,000 tons/year. Baling Petrochemical CPL liquid price was 14,800 RMB/ton, and the manufacturer's production capacity is 300,000 tons/year. Shandong Hualu Hengsheng CPL bulk water price was 14,300 RMB/ton, and the manufacturer's installation capacity is 300,000 tons/year. Shandong Luxi Chemical CPL liquid price was 13,250 RMB/ton, and the manufacturer's production capacity is 300,000 tons/year.

The price of raw benzene continued to weaken this week. Affected by the slump in crude oil this week, bulk commodities weakened collectively; Asian pure benzene fell continuously, and the external news was bad; coupled with the general domestic buying, the price of pure benzene fell. This week, Sinopec's pure benzene price was lowered by 300 RMB/ton to 9,300 RMB/ton. The price of pure benzene in Hebei and Shandong was lowered to 9,150 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

SunSirs’ CPL analysts believe that the current cost of CPL has been reduced, and the raw material support is weak. The downstream demand is weak in follow-up and the transaction volume is not good. In the case of many negative factors, it is expected that the CPL market will continue to decline in the short term.
