SunSirs: Sugar prices rose slightly in Guangxi spot market
June 01 2022 08:56:30The Guangxi spot market quotation was raised to 5940-5960 yuan / ton (new sugar, factory warehouse delivery price), which was 10-20 yuan higher than the quotation on the 30th. The quotation of other merchants was slightly lower. The specific transaction situation needs to be further observed.
During the pressing season of 2021/22, the national sugar planting area is expected to decrease by more than 1.5 million mu, and the national sugar planting area will decline to less than 20million mu. The national sugar output in the 2021/22 pressing season is expected to be about 10.23 million tons, with a year-on-year decrease of about 430000 tons.
