According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of nitric acid on May 13 was 2,666 RMB/ton, and the average price of nitric acid on May 9 was 2,466 RMB/ton, an increase of 8.11%.
Analysis review
On May 10, Anhui Jinhe Industrial Co., Ltd., the ex-factory price of concentrated nitric acid was 2,850 RMB/ton, which was 350 RMB/ton higher than last week, which was affected by the tight supply of nitric acid. Ningxia Runxia Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 150,000 concentrated acid, quoted 2,750 RMB/ton for 98 concentrated nitric acid on May 13, an increase of 200 RMB/ton from last week. The price of nitric acid rose due to the increase in raw materials. Shaanxi Xinghua Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of nitric acid, on May 10, the price of concentrated nitric acid was 2,400 RMB/ton, which was 50 RMB/ton higher than last week. Driven by the rise in synthetic ammonia prices, the market was acceptable.
It can be seen from the data of SunSirs that the price of upstream liquid ammonia rose by 5.26% from May 1 to 13. Downstream aniline fell 0.63%, TDI fell 2.95%, the price of potassium nitrate rose 3.76%, and the price of ammonium nitrate was temporarily stable.
Market outlook
Liquid ammonia has risen significantly, and the supply of nitric acid is tight. It is expected that the price of nitric acid will mainly rise.
