May 10 2022 13:47:29According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on May 9, China imported 23.549 million tons of coal in April 2022, an increase of 1.815 million tons or 8.35% over 21.734 million tons in the same period last year; Compared with 16.423 million tons in March, it increased by 7.126 million tons, an increase of 43.39%.
From January to April 2022, China imported 75.406 million tons of coal, a year-on-year decrease of 16.2%, 8 percentage points lower than that in the previous March.
In addition, according to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, the national coal price fluctuated slightly last week (April 25 to May 1). Among them, the prices of power coal and coking coal were 905 RMB and 1561 RMB per ton, down 1.6% and 0.4% respectively, and the price of No. 2 smokeless lump coal was 1444 RMB per ton, up 0.3%.
The price of steel decreased slightly, among which the prices of hot rolled strip, ordinary medium plate and deformed steel bar were 5136 RMB, 5339 yuan and 5011 RMB per ton, down 1.1%, 0.9% and 0.8% respectively.
