According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the price of ternary live pigs at home and abroad continued to be weak this week. The average price at the beginning of the week was 12.12 RMB/kg, and the average price at the weekend was 11.90 RMB/kg, down 1.82% during the week.
Analysis review
In mid-March, the problem of strong supply and weak demand in the live pig market continued to intensify. This week, the price of pigs in many places in China fell below the 12 RMB/kg mark, and the price of pigs continued to adjust weakly under pressure. On March 18, the average price of live pigs fell to 11.90 RMB/kg, down 4.03% from the beginning of the month.
This week, the domestic corn price fluctuated at a high level, up 0.10% in the week, the soybean meal price rose again, up 2.32% in the week, the cost of breeding and feeding continued to rise, the pig-grain ratio was below 5:1 for many weeks, the loss of the breeding industry has continued to expand, and the abandonment and selling of livestock by farmers has increased.
Market outlook
