The upstream PTA market mainly operated stably, and the mainstream price was about 5,250 RMB/ ton. On January 20, the domestic PTA market fell slightly, and the average market price in East China was 5,347 RMB/ ton, down 0.21% from the previous trading day and up 38.86% year-on-year. PTA futures 2205 closed at 5,372 RMB/ ton and settled at 5,374 RMB/ ton, down 34 RMB/ ton, or 0.63%.
Rubber and plastic commodity index: on January 20, the rubber and plastic index was 777 points, up 1 point from the previous day, down 26.70% from the highest point 1060 points in the cycle (2012-03-14), and up 47.16% from the lowest point 528 points on April 6, 2020.
