SunSirs: China Domestic PVC Market Fell on November 4

According to the data of SunSirs, on November 4, the closing price of PVC futures contract 2201 was 8,188 RMB/ ton, down 6.21%, and continued to decline. The spot market price was 9,470 RMB/ ton, down 2.87% from the previous trading day. Most of the enterprises reduced their quotation in the range of 100-500 RMB/ ton, and the mainstream quotation was 9,200-9,800 RMB/ ton, falling back below 10,000 RMB/ ton, and the market focus moved down. At present, the raw material calcium carbide has fallen to 5,500 RMB/ ton, the cost support is weakened, and the downstream gas buying is insufficient. PVC enterprises have great sales pressure and continue to reduce prices for shipment. However, the market trading atmosphere is still poor, and the wait-and-see mood of operators is not reduced.
China PVC market is expected to continue the downward trend in the short term.
