SunSirs: The Raw Material Market is Strong, China PA6 Follows the Upstream

According to the bulk list data of SunSirs, the domestic market trend of PA6 has increased recently, and the spot prices of various brands have increased to a certain extent. As of October 15, the mainstream offer price of 2.75-2.85 of China viscosity by the sample enterprises was about 17,833.33 RMB/ ton, an increase of 2.88% compared with the average price at the beginning of the month, a year-on-year increase of 63.11%.

Industrial chain: in terms of upstream caprolactam, at present, the price of raw material pure benzene is rising, the cost is favorable support, coupled with tight supply, and caprolactam is running at a high level. Downstream on-demand procurement, enterprises start low.

After the National Day holidays, the upstream caprolactam price continued to strengthen, PA6 cost support continued to be strong, and the spot price followed the rise of raw materials. However, the high cost pressure caused by the high raw materials leads to the low load of the polymerization plant, and the high cost pressure is also unfavorable to the improvement of the profitability of the polymerization plant. In terms of demand, although it is traditional peak season recently, environmental protection policies such as double restrictions affect the load of terminal enterprises, and the market is dominated by a wait-and-see atmosphere.

SunSirs analysts believe that caprolactam has continued to support the cost side of PA6 strongly recently, and the spot price of PA6 continues to follow the rise of raw materials. The terminal demand is affected by the environmental protection policy and does not reach the expected effect in the peak season, and the centralized replenishment market is weakened. The market fundamentals are still stable, and it is expected that the spot price of PA6 may maintain a stable operation in China in the short term.
