According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, the price trend of cryolite in Henan increased slightly this week. On September 27, the average market price in Henan was 6,537.50 RMB/ton, and the price increased by 50 RMB/ton during the week, an increase of 0.77%. Compared with August 1stm the price increased by 2.15%.

Analysis review

Domestic cryolite market rose slightly. The upstream raw materials were tight, the production capacity of individual companies was low, and the cryolite market was running strongly. As of the 26th, the ex-factory price of cryolite in Shandong was 6,300-6,500 RMB/ton, the price of cryolite in Henan was increased by 200 RMB/ton, and the ex-factory price was 6,300-6,800 RMB/ton. Domestic cryolite enterprises were operating normally, the inventory was low, downstream demand was stable, enterprise shipments were stable, market supply was tight, cryolite prices were mainly high, and actual transaction prices were low.

In the downstream aluminum industry, the market rose first and then fell this week. The weekend price was 22,930.00 RMB/ton, compared with the price of 22,756.67 RMB/ton last weekend, an overall increase of 0.76%. The fundamentals of the supply side had not changed, the supply was limited, the inventory was low, and the market circulation supply was tight. In terms of demand, the real estate and transportation industries have greater demand, and the demand for aluminum has increased. Aluminum prices have risen. The current market price is relatively high, and the future aluminum market trend will continue to fluctuate at a high level.

Market outlook

The domestic cryolite market is operating at a high level, upstream raw materials are tight, corporate quotations are relatively high, downstream demand is stable, and corporate shipments are stable. It is expected that the cryolite market will postpone and wait and see for the time being, with specific attention to downstream demand.
