In August, the domestic BR and SBR market was slightly weak, and the ex-factory price was basically stable in the month after a slight adjustment at the beginning of the month. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of August 31, the ex-factory price of Qilu BR and Qilu 1502 of Sinopec North China was 13,900 yuan / ton and 13,200 yuan / ton respectively; During the month, the offer of market traders was slightly adjusted. During the month, the offer of BR was relatively strong and the offer of SBR was slightly weak.

Affected by the parking of Qilu, Qixiang and Haopu, the start-up of BR decreased in August; Affected by the overhaul of Qilu and Lanhua styrene butadiene units, the start-up of SBR decreased in August.

In August, the prices of raw materials butadiene and styrene fell, and the cost side was empty. SunSirs analysts believe that the decline in raw material prices has dragged down cis-butyl and styrene butadiene rubber; However, the start-up of BR and SBR units decreased, which supported their prices to a certain extent; In addition to the impact of natural rubber on synthetic rubber, it is expected that the price of BR may further decline in the later stage, and SBR will fluctuate in a narrow range.
