SunSirs: China PS Remained Stable as a Whole and the Price Remained Unchanged

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of PS ordinary materials at the beginning of last week was 10,933 RMB/ ton, and the average price of PS ordinary materials at the end of last week was 10,933 RMB/ ton. The price was stable, up 38.11% compared with the same period of last year.

The domestic PS market was stable, boosted by the rebound of styrene. At the beginning of the week, the market rose slightly, and local transactions were slightly better. However, during the week, crude oil and styrene mainly fell, the market wait-and-see mood increased, and merchants made profits to ship. Due to the tight supply of common materials and the support of holding cost, the overall fluctuation space is small.

Benzene in East China market closed 10,750-11,700 RMB/ ton, the low-end fell 50 RMB/ ton month on month, and the high-end was stable month on month. China's PS industry produced 59,000 tons, with an operating rate of 73.42%, an increase of 4.21% month on month and a year-on-year decrease of 6.85%.

At present, there is no obvious change in the supply and demand situation. However, if CITIC Guoan PS plant is restarted in late October, it can also alleviate the tight situation of ordinary benzene penetration to a certain extent and pay attention to further developments.
