SunSirs: Spinning Enterprises Replenish the Warehouse and Cool down, Chinese Polyester Yarn Operating Rate Drops
August 12 2021 08:30:36     SunSirs (Linda)At present, due to the global and domestic epidemics, ocean freight and surcharges continue to rise sharply. Containers in the U.S. and European routes are extremely tight. Although domestic textile and clothing companies have a prosperous list, their profit margins are low and even lose money. Weak new orders, high inventories, cooling of textile enterprises' replenishment, tight liquidity, and superimposed causes of the epidemic, the start of Jiangsu and Zhejiang looms declined. The operating rate of looms in Jiangsu and Zhejiang dropped to 79%, leading to a slow decline in the operating rate of polyester yarns in polyester yarn mills. As of August 10, the operating rate was 71%. The stock of raw materials was 21.5 (-1.0) days, and the stock was replenished on dips. The raw materials fluctuated around 22 days.
