According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average quotation of EPS ordinary materials at the beginning of last week was 10,825 RMB/ ton, and the average price of EPS ordinary materials at the weekend was 10,650 RMB/ ton, with a price decrease of 1.62% and an increase of 32.92% compared with the same period of last year.
Last week, the domestic EPS market was weak, styrene fluctuated and fell, and the risk aversion of terminal merchants was obvious. The small rise of styrene stopped the decline, which led to an active inquiry atmosphere in the EPS market and a large number of transactions in a single day. As of August 5, Jiangsu ordinary materials were 10,200 RMB/ ton, a month on month decrease of 300 RMB/ ton, a decrease of 2.86%, resistance fuel was 10,800 RMB/ ton, a month on month decrease of 300 RMB/ ton, a decrease of 2.70%.
The macro sentiment is weak, coupled with the impact of the epidemic, the downstream demand is difficult to recover significantly, the supply side, most EPS units are in normal production, no new units are put into operation, and the output is expected to change little this week. China EPS market is expected to be weak this week.
