Price trend

As can be seen from the above figure, the price of sulfuric acid in Shandong region increased this week. The quotation rose from 643.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week to 670.00 RMB/ton at the weekend, an increase of 4.15%, and a 56.73% year-on-year increase over the same period last year. On the whole, the sulfuric acid market rose this week, and the sulfuric acid commodity index on July 16 was 104.28.

The downstream boosted the sulfuric acid market , and the willingness to purchase was strengthened

Judging from the manufacturers' quotations, the prices of sulfuric acid from mainstream manufacturers in Shandong region rose this week, and the manufacturers' inventory was average, and downstream demand was good. Heze Jiangyuan’s sulfuric acid price was 730 RMB/ton at the weekend, compared with the beginning of the week, the quotation increased by 50 RMB/ton; Zouping Tianlu’s quotation this weekend was 630 RMB/ton, compared with the beginning of the week, the quotation increased by 30 RMB/ton; Jinan Yuanfei's offer was 650 RMB/ton, compared with the beginning of the week, the offer was temporarily stable.

From the perspective of the upstream and downstream industrial chain, the upstream sulfur market consolidated at a high level recently, with a quotation of 1,646.67 RMB/ton, a year-on-year increase of 164.17%, and cost support was good. In addition, the downstream bromine market was consolidating at a high level. The price this week was around 45,300.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 71.96% year-on-year. On the whole, both upstream and downstream products had a positive impact on the price of sulfuric acid this week.

The market outlook may fluctuate slightly

In late July, the sulfuric acid market in Shandong may fluctuate downward slightly. The upstream sulfur price has consolidated at a high level recently, and the cost support is good, but the downstream bromine market has begun to decline slightly, the downstream enthusiasm for purchasing sulfuric acid has weakened, and the product trend is down due to the contradiction between supply and demand. The sulfuric acid analyst of SunSirs believes that in the short term, under the influence of supply and demand and raw materials, the Shandong sulfuric acid market may fluctuate downward slightly.
