According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, as of June 8th, the average price of ECH companies was 13,100 yuan/ton, which was 0.76% lower than the price at the beginning of the month and 7.75% lower than the price on May 8, a increase of 11.97% in a three-month cycle.
Analysis review
The ECH market as a whole showed a downward trend in May, and the market fluctuated in June. The current cost side support is strong, but the downstream purchases mainly on demand, the actual trading is limited, and the transaction is slightly normal. On the 8th, the company's quotation was mainly stable, some individual companies adjusted the prices, and the market was stalemate.
In terms of upstream propylene, on June 7, the price of propylene in Shandong temporarily stabilized. According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, after a sharp increase of 150-250 yuan/ton on the 3rd, the market was adjusted to run on June 8. Some companies slightly reduced 50 yuan/ton, and the market transaction rose to around 8,050-8,150 yuan/ton, and the mainstream price was around 8,050 yuan/ton.
For downstream epoxy resins, the liquid epoxy resins in East China were offered relatively stable on June 8 after the early upswing. The local market mainstream negotiated the ex-factory price of 27,000-27,500 yuan/ton.
Market outlook
The ECH analyst of SunSirs believes that, on the whole, the cost and demand are currently in the game, and the market is mainly wait-and-see. It is expected that the ECH market may fluctuate and consolidate in the short term, and more attention should be paid to market news guidelines.
