SunSirs: The Trading Was Good, the Price of Chlorinated Paraffin Rose (May 17-21)

According to SunSirs’ monitoring data, the price of chlorinated paraffins rose this week. On May 17, the average ex-factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 5,866 RMB/ton, and on May 21, the average ex-factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 5,966 RMB/ton. The price increased by 1.70% this week.

Analysis review

The price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 increased this week. The factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Anhui area was 5,600-5,800 RMB/ton, the price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Northeast area was 5,600 RMB/ton, the price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Hebei area was 5,000-5,500 RMB/ton, and the price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Shaanxi area was around 5,600 RMB/ton. The ex-factory price was around 6,200 RMB/ton, and the price of 52 chlorinated paraffins in Shandong was 5,000-5,400 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the price of liquid wax operated steadily this week. The market was holding a wait-and-see attitude, and downstream purchases were mainly on-demand. The current price of liquid wax was high. In terms of raw material liquid chlorine, the price of liquid chlorine was weak and stable this week, the price continued to be low, and the price was lowered in some regions.

Market outlook

The chlorinated paraffin analyst of SunSirs believes that the current price of chlorinated paraffin raw material liquid wax is strong, and the cost is favorable. Recently, the demand for chlorinated paraffins is facing good, the trading volume has increased, and the inventory volume has decreased.
