According to the data of SunSirs, on Octr 30, the average price of metal silicon (441#) in the domestic market was 11,375RMB/t, an increase of 2.17% compared with the average price of 11,133.33RMB/t on Oct 18.
The market's expectation of rising domestic production costs and production reduction is beginning to spread. The sales prices of mainstream manufacturers have been slightly increased. Some traders are mainly waiting and seeing, the overall trading is general.
4. Future Forecast: The recent production reduction in China has become a foregone conclusion. The future market will mainly wait for some silicon plants in Xinjiang to repair their idle capacity before entering into winter. From the end of October to the beginning of November, the production will increase. Under the basic principle of overall supply moving down, the downstream demand changes will be mainly focused. It is expected that the short-term operation of metallic silicon will be dominated by strong operation.
