1. Market analysis

Product: as the weather turns cold, the gasoline market gradually enters the off-season. Last week, the domestic gasoline price dropped by 3.34% and on October 21, the domestic refined oil price was lowered, MTBE market demand was weakened, and alkylated oil and MTBE prices showed a significant downward trend.

Industrial chain: the overall international crude oil price rose first and then fell last week, with large amplitude. Although the change rate of crude oil monitored by the business association has rebounded, the latest change rate of crude oil as of October 17 was - 4.52%, and the price of domestic refined oil was basically determined on October 21. Last week, there was a strong wait-and-see mood in the gasoline market, the overall transaction atmosphere was light, and the price of gasoline fell.

MTBE Market: last week, the international oil price continued to decline, and the market was negative. At the same time, the domestic gasoline demand was weak, and the purchase intention of raw materials of middlemen was very negative. It was difficult for MTBE manufacturers to ship goods, the inventory pressure increased, and the MTBE price fell sharply for promotion. Near the end of the week, as MTBE prices fell to a lower level, market demand began to improve, MTBE prices in Shandong rebounded slightly, and the southern market still maintained a downward trend. The continuous decline of international oil price and the lower than expected price of ground refined gasoline and the pessimistic attitude of alkylated oil market led to a significant drop in the week.
