1. China's corn starch price trend
According to SunSirs monitoring, domestic corn starch prices were slightly weaker and adjusted last week. At the beginning of the week, the average price of first-grade corn starch for consumption was 3,160.00 yuan/ton, and the average weekend price was 3,146.67 yuan/ton, a slight decrease of 0.42%.
2. Market Analysis
Last week, the domestic corn market price adjusted slightly weaker, the raw material cost dropped slightly, and the downstream purchase of starch was more cautious. Some manufacturers slightly lowered the ex-factory price. This week, the domestic corn starch market price adjusted slightly weaker with the corn price.
3. Outlook
SunSirs corn starch product analysts believe that the cost of raw materials has dropped slightly, and domestic corn starch prices will be adjusted slightly. On the whole, corn prices continue to be high and starch processing profits continue to shrink. Under the support of costs, the overall decline of corn starch is limited.
