According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of paraformaldehyde was 5,200 RMB/ton on December 11, and the average price of paraformaldehyde was 5,233 RMB/ton on December 15, and the quotation increased by 0.64%.
Analysis review
Shandong Aldehyde Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) was 5,000 RMB/ton including tax, which was the same as last week. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) was 5,300 RMB/ton including tax, which was 100 RMB/ton higher than last week. Zibo Qixing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) was 5,400 RMB/ton including tax, which was the same as last week. The paraformaldehyde market is getting better, and the upstream methanol rises, individual manufacturers raise their quotations.
According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the domestic methanol market has risen. From December 7th to December 15th, the quotations of methanol producers in Shandong increased by about 1.05%.
Market outlook
Supported by the upstream raw material methanol, as well as the good trading atmosphere of the downstream pesticide market, the paraformaldehyde analyst of SunSirs believes that paraformaldehyde market may go up.
