According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the market for ammonium chloride declined slightly this week (11.30-12.4), with the price at 590.00 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week and 582.50 RMB/ton on the weekend, and the overall price dropped slightly by 1.27%.
Analysis review
At present, the overall operating rate of ammonium chloride enterprises has dropped to around 70%, and the overall operating rate of Hou Soda has decreased, and the pressure on the supply of ammonium chloride has eased; in terms of demand, with the arrival of winter storage, the price of downstream compound fertilizers has risen, and the overall operating rate of compound fertilizer enterprises increased slightly to around 50%, which has certain support for ammonium chloride. On the whole, although supply and demand have a certain supporting role in the face of ammonium chloride, the current sellers offer low prices to reduce inventory. According to SunSirs, as of December 4, 2020, the 600,000-ton/year ammonium chloride plant in Kunshan of China National Salt Industry Group Co., Ltd. was operating normally and was currently under construction at almost full capacity. The manufacturer now reported 590 RMB/ton for dry ammonium chloride and 520 RMB/ton for wet ammonium chloride.
