Price trend

According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the price of o-xylene has risen for three consecutive times this week, stimulated by cost pressures and favorable downstream conditions, the market for o-xylene has risen sharply. As of November 23, Sinopec's o-xylene contract price was 5,000.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 13.64% from last weekend's (November 15) price of 4,400 RMB/ton.

The market of O-xylene upstream

From the mixed xylene price chart, it can be seen that the price of mixed xylene has fluctuated up this week by 2.65%, the cost of o-xylene has risen, and the momentum of the rise of o-xylene has increased.

The trend of downstream product

It can be seen from the phthalic anhydride price chart that the price of phthalic anhydride continued to rise sharply this week, with a weekly increase of 7.54%. The market for phthalic anhydride rose sharply, and the market for o-xylene was positive. The downstream demand of o-xylene rose, and the driving force of o-xylene price rise increased.
