According to SunSirs’ data monitoring: this week, the spot price of wood pulp is slightly lower, and the price reduction range is about 50 RMB/ ton. On November 6, the average price of softwood pulp in Shandong was 4,600 RMB/ ton, which was reduced 25 RMB/ ton, or 0.54% compared with the average price of 4,625 RMB/ ton on November 1. On November 6, the average price of hardwood pulp in Shandong was 3,550 RMB/ ton, which decreased 25 RMB/ ton, or 0.7% compared with the average price of 3,575 RMB/ ton at the beginning of November.

According to the observation of market changes, the spot price of wood pulp is still at a relatively low level since November. Although the pulp futures price has started to rise recently, the spot price has not increased significantly. The price of this week is still slightly lower due to the impact of the previous price downturn. At present, the goods volume of wood pulp in the port is stable, and supply and demand are relatively stable.

Recently, the external price has risen, which may lead to the rising trend of wood pulp price in the future. In addition, with the recovery of consumption and the impact of plastic restriction order, the price of white cardboard will continue to rise, which will also drive the price of wood pulp. The reference quotation range of softwood pulp: Yinxing 4,550-4,600 RMB/ ton, broad-leaved wood pulp price range is 3,550 RMB/ ton.

In terms of futures, on November 6, the opening price of SP2012 main contract of Shanghai Futures Exchange was 4,528 RMB/ ton, and yesterday's settlement price was 4,528 RMB/ ton, with 114,365 transactions and 66,788 positions.
