According to the data monitored by SunSirs, as of November 4, the average price of domestic premium DMF companies was 9,900 RMB/ton. In November, the DMF market showed an overall downward trend. Compared with the same period last week, the price fell by 5.71%. Compared with the beginning of this month, the price fell by 17.96%. The domestic DMF market is trending downwards. The current operating rate of enterprises is normal.

Analysis review

The domestic DMF market price dropped sharply this week, with some manufacturers experiencing a daily drop of nearly 2,000 RMB/ton. Currently, sales are slow and the number of new orders and new orders has decreased, resulting in high inventory pressure. The purchasing atmosphere is dull, enterprise installations are operating normally, downstream demand has decreased, the focus of the DMF market has not yet stabilized, and the price still has not reached the ideal price in the downstream minds. It is not ruled out that the downward trend continues, and there is a certain degree of difficulty in high-level transactions.

The upstream methanol inventory is average, the sales situation is acceptable, the mentality is stable, and the price is tentatively rising. At present, there is a slight increase in East China and South China, and the price in Northeast China is operating steadily.

On November 3, the chemical index was 806 points, an increase of 3 points from previousday, a decrease of 20.67% from the highest point in the cycle of 1016 points (2012-03-13), and an increase of 34.78% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8, 2020.
