According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the average ex-factory price of sulfur in the East China market was 850.00 RMB/ton on September 30, compared with the average ex-factory price of 793.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month, an increase of 7.14% during the month and a year-on-year increase of 46.55%.

Analysis review

In September, the sulfur market went up as a whole. Port holders supported the market strongly, and the sulfur market continued to rise. Domestic sulfur manufacturers adjusted their quotations according to the sales situation, and the price trend rose steadily during the month. As of the 30th, the price of solid sulfur in East China was 860-1,060 RMB/ton, and the price of liquid sulfur was 760-900 RMB/ton; the price of solid sulfur in North China was 710-800 RMB/ton, and the price of liquid sulfur was 660-720 RMB/ton; the prices of solid and liquid sulfur in Shandong were 840-850 RMB/ton.

As of September 30, the downstream sulfuric acid market had good trading. The sales of sulfuric acid manufacturers in Shandong were stable, the inventory of acid enterprises was low, the quotation of sulfuric acid rose slightly, and the two festivals were approaching. Many manufacturers had finished stocking up, and the post-holiday market or finishing operations were the main ones. In terms of phosphate fertilizer, the export and domestic demand were stable, and the company's sales were smooth. The market outlook was temporarily stable.
