The acrylic acid market has been operating stably recently, and the market price rose again on September 21. According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, as of September 21, the average price of acrylic acid in East China was 9,333.33 RMB/ton, an increase of 8.95% compared with last Monday (September 14), and an increase of 28.74% compared with August 21. At present, the price of raw material propylene is high and the cost continues to be under pressure. Some manufacturers' equipment is about to be overhauled. Coupled with the active stocking close to the downstream of the double festival, the market is continuously heating up and the acrylic acid market is rising.

In the upstream of propylene, the price of propylene in the Shandong region declined slightly on September 21. According to the price chart of the business agency, since September 1, the price of propylene has continued to rise across the board, and the rate of increase is getting larger and larger, up to a total of about 300 RMB/ton on the 4th, and the first round of downward adjustments occurred from the 7th to the 10th. A total of 100-150 RMB/ton was lowered, and then it stabilized slightly. The price started to rise again on the 13th, and it had risen by about 350 RMB/ton on the 17th. The price remained stable on the 17th, and the price was slightly lowered at the beginning of the weekend. On the 22nd, the price of propylene in some enterprises fell by 50 RMB/ton, and some companies had a tendency to make up for it. On the 22nd, the market transaction was between 7,300 and 7,650 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price was around 7,450 RMB/ton. Propylene manufacturers sell smoothly and inventory is low.
