N-butanol started to rise in late June and the trend remained unchanged this week

Beginning in late June, the overall domestic n-butanol market has steadily increased upwards. This week, the focus of n-butanol transactions continued to rise. At present, the factory's opening power is around six to seven floors, the spot inventory level is low, the factory's external offers are generally rising, the confidence of the industry is greatly boosted, the market inquiry atmosphere is good, the downstream Users have a higher enthusiasm for low-end market purchases, low-price supply is tight, and overall market sales are relatively smooth. As of the 28th, Wanhua Chemical's ex-factory quotation in East China referenced 5,800 RMB/ton, up 200 RMB/ton from the last weekend (19th), or an increase of 3.57%; Shandong Lihuayi n-butanol ex-factory quotation was 5,750 RMB/ton, an increase of 300 RMB/ton or 5.50% from the previous weekend (19th); Luxi Chemicals’ n-butanol ex-factory price reference was 5,850 RMB/ton, compared with the previous weekend (19th), it increased by 250 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.46%. At present, according to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average factory price of domestic n-butanol is referenced at 5,800 RMB/ton. Compared with this Monday (22nd), the price increased by 133 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.35% within the week; compared with June 15, the price has increased by 350 RMB/ton, a half-month increase of 6.42%.

Upstream:Starting from the beginning of this week, Shandong propylene market prices fell weakly, with limited support for n-butanol in terms of cost. On the 22nd and 23rd, the market price of propylene was continuously reduced by about 50 RMB/ton, and the current market transaction was between 6,650 and 7,000 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price was about 6,750 RMB/ton. The inventory pressure of propylene manufacturers is not large, but the sales situation is relatively deserted.

Downstream: At present, the market price of butyl acrylate in southern China is 7,550-7,650 yuan per ton of accessories. The market is near the holiday and the main weakness is the consolidation of the market. The downstream is mostly wait-and-see. The pre-holiday inquiry and procurement transactions are not good. At present, there is a certain inventory pressure in the factory, the transaction center of gravity is low, and the industry purchases more on demand.

Market outlook

According to analysts of n-butanol, the focus of negotiation in the market of n-butanol is up, the inventory in the market is low, and the market supply and demand cycle is good. It is heard that some n-butanol plants in Shandong and Northeast China are planned to be overhauled in July, and supply is expected to continue to shrink, so it is expected that the focus of domestic n-butanol market negotiation will continue to rise in the short term.
