This week, stainless steel rose slightly. On the one hand, due to the increase in the price of nickel-iron nickel ore, the increase in raw material costs caused steel mills to raise prices; on the other hand, the social stock of stainless steel in April fell by nearly 200,000 tons to 930,000 tons. The concentration of demand The release reduced inventory and superimposed the production of stainless steel plants that did not reach full capacity in March and April. The output fell, and even some specifications were out of stock, which also led to the firmness of stainless steel prices in the short term.
In summary: the current stainless steel spot market has tight supply of some specifications. After the holiday, it will come back to the stainless steel factory to increase the quotation. There is also a certain demand for replenishment of the downstream, and the market trading atmosphere is good. The current overseas consumption of stainless steel is still pessimistic, domestic demand has not completely improved, and the short-term demand outbreak may not be sustainable. The short-term shocks of stainless steel are expected to be strong.
