SunSirs: China’s PC Market was in Weak Sideways (March.16)

Today's market price is 13766.67 RMB/ton. PC market is weakly sideways. The downstream maintain the juts- demand strategy. The real deal is limited.
Products: Affected by public events abroad, the international economic situation is getting increasingly severe. On the other hand, the construction of downstream factories in China is slowly recovering, but the receiving mentality is cautious. The pressure on the supply side is large. The price of raw materials is significantly lower, and the cost pressure is greatly increased. PC enterprises start low. It is difficult to stop the decline and it is difficult to alleviate in a short term.
Industrial Chain: Domestic bisphenol A market continues to break down. In the early of this week, due to the slump in oil future on market trading, buyers usually have more bearish anticipation, with rare initiative enquiries to ask price. Meanwhile, supply and demand fundamentals remain weak. Downstream and PC factory has overall capacity of epoxy resin. Traders and factory shipment is under pressure, given priority to sale amounts. Combined with the lower price of both upstream phenol and acetone, there lacks in cost support, which dragged market price to decline.
Industry: On March 15, the PC commodity index was 57.84, unchanged from the previous day, down 54.11% from the cycle peak of 126.05 (2017-December-18), and up 8.60% from the low of 53.26 on March 02, 2020 (Note: Period refers to 2011-Septmber-01 till now).
Market Forecasting: SunSirs PC analysts think that short - term domestic PC market will have a fluctuation with decrease.
