SunSirs: The Pig Price Fluctuates With A Downward This Week (March.9-13)

This week's domestic Sanyuan hybridization prices slightly shock downward. The average price of live pig is 35.90 RMB/kg at the beginning of the week, and the average price of live pig is 35.85 RMB/kg at the weekend, a small drop of 0.14%.
Entering March, the domestic transport pressure further ease. At the same time, frozen meat continued to be outbound. Farmers are willingness to sell pigs. The overall terminal market demand is still weak. slaughterhouses are subject to sales slow progress, therefore, it continued to decline the purchase price of live pigs. Pig market as a whole continued for a weak adjustment with some of the parts prices weak again. Domestic pig market price fluctuated with downward slightly.
This week, the domestic corn price fluctuated with increasement while soybean meal price dropped significantly. In general, the breeding and feeding costs are still relatively high. Recently, the piglet prices remain high and the breeding costs remain high.
Market forecasting aspect, SunSirs pig product analyst Li Wenxu thinks that in the short term, domestic pig market supply is relatively loose. The pressure of the pig price has small fluctuation with downward. On the other side, the breeding cost is still at a high level and the stock did not appear a significant recovery support. Therefore, the pig price is expected to reduce the overall space is limited in the short term.
