SunSirs: Domestic PC Market was Slow and Stable (Feb.17)

Today's (Feb. 17) average market price is 14300.00 RMB / ton, and the PC market is weak and stable. At present, it is difficult for the PC market to have a real deal.

Products: Last week, the domestic PC market atmosphere was cold. And it is obvious that PC has a high price tag. Starting this week, both the East and South China markets will resume quotation, and the industry is cautious to explore the direction. However, the impact of COVID-19 will affect downstream’s real demand. Plus, the problem of logistics recovery remains. Therefore, it will be difficult for the market to release the real volume. The inventory pressure on domestic and imported material is hard to be released.

Industry Chain: Upstream bisphenol A: East China's bisphenol A market showed low price on Friday, with a quotation of 10700-10900 RMB / ton. The negotiation is rather low-end. The overall operating rate of bisphenol A plant has dropped to 75%. Affected by the slow resumption of downstream work, some traders are under pressure to deliver goods at low prices. But the inquiry is limited, and the transaction is under follow-up.

Industry: On February 16, the rubber and plastic index was 642, the same as yesterday, down 39.43% from 1060 (2012-March-14), the highest point in the cycle. And it is 11.46% higher from 576, the lowest point on December 21, 2015 (Note: cycle refers to 2011-December-01 to now).

Future Forecast: SunSirs PC analysts believe that the domestic PC market atmosphere is cold. And it is obvious that PC has a high price tag.
