Sunsirs: Affected by the epidemic, Stainless steel delay the start time

Affected by the epidemic situation, many domestic provinces and cities have postponed post-holiday resumption of work until February 9. Domestic stainless steel production enterprises are mainly located in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanxi, Guangdong, Fujian and other places. At least 60% of domestic stainless steel production capacity will be affected. At the same time, the construction of stainless steel logistics, processing and trade centers in Foshan, Guangdong and Wuxi, Jiangsu will also be affected. Among them, Chencun of Foshan has issued notices to the enterprises in the area under its jurisdiction, and the construction has been delayed until February 10.

During the interruption of the construction and the replacement of the interior after the resumption of work, affected by the epidemic, the price of stainless steel may show a weak supply and demand layout. The continuous terminal demand will not be improved because of the reduction of the epidemic situation, but the delay in the start of production by the manufacturers will actually lead to a decline in the overall output. When the epidemic situation improves and the terminal operation resumes, demand may rebound.
