National PET water bottle grade manufacturers quoted 6,575.00 RMB / ton on January 13th. PET market prices fluctuated slightly this week.
Product aspect, East China polyester bottle flakes market is narrowly sideways. The current mainstream manufacturers' offers are around 6,800-6,850 RMB / ton. The market spot mainstream negotiations are near 6,550-6,650 RMB / ton. Zhejiang Wankai's latest offer is 6,750 RMB / ton. China Resources Chemical Holdings Co., Ltd. prices at 6,700 RMB / ton. Anyang Polyester Material Plant quotes at 6,700 RMB / ton.
Industry Chain aspect, the raw material PTA market remains sideways. The cost support is general. And the bottle chip manufacturer's offer is temporarily stable. The market negotiation focus is on the low end. The downstream is cautious and wait-and-see. The market is light.
The PET Commodity Index on January 12 was 50.38, which was the same as yesterday. It was 51.45% lower than the highest point of the cycle at 103.76 (2011-Septmber-22) and 5.53% higher than the lowest point of 47.74 on January 25, 2016. (Note: Period refers to 2011-Septmber-01 to present).
