SunSirs: The Price of Activated Charcoal Decline Due to Lack of Positive Factors (December 30-January 3)

According to the data of SunSirs, the price of activated charcoal at the beginning of this week was 11,283 RMB/ton, and the price of activated charcoal at the weekend was 11,266 RMB/ton, the price fell by 0.15%.

 

Analysis review        

Product: The price of domestic activated charcoal continues to fluctuate and decline. At present, the factory price of activated charcoal for coconut shell water purification in East China is about 7,200-12,000 RMB/ton. The price of domestic activated charcoal is mainly to maintain stability, and the factory basically goes according to the previous orders.

Industrial chain: The cost pressures of the main raw materials of activated charcoal such as coconut shell, nut shell, and charcoal are supported, and demand is acceptable; the support of coal carbon raw material cost is weak. Downstream power, medicine and other demand industries collect goods according to single orders. The market for activated charcoal for air purification and water purification is good. Environmental protection policies have boosted the activated charcoal market. Downstream factories have taken goods on demand and market transactions have been light.

 

Market outlook

The downstream of activated charcoal is still deserted, and the market lacks favorable support. It is expected that the short-term activated charcoal market will not improve much.
