1. PVC rose 6.27% throughout the year

The trend of the domestic PVC market in 2019 is quite volatile.

According to data from SunSirs, the average domestic mainstream PVC price at the beginning of the year was 6,575 RMB/ton.

On December 24, the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,987.5 RMB/ton, which was an increase of 412.5 RMB over the beginning of the year, or 6.27% during the year.

2. PVC fell by 1.98% in the first quarter

The domestic PVC market is in a low consolidation phase in the first quarter of 2019.

According to data from SunSirs, the average domestic mainstream PVC price on January 1 was 6,575 RMB/ton, and the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,445 RMB/ton on March 31.

The offer price fell by 130 RMB or 1.98%. Long and short factors in the market are intertwined, and the price of PVC fluctuates within the 6,300-6,800 RMB/ton range.

3. PVC rose 4.16% in the second quarter

The domestic PVC market fluctuated in the second quarter of 2019, reaching a commanding height of 7,142.5 RMB in mid-May, and then began to decline.

According to data from SunSirs, the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,432.5 RMB/ ton on April 1, and the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,700 RMB/ton on June 30. The quotation rose by 267.5 RMB or 4.16%.

4. PVC rose 0.19% in the third quarter

In the third quarter of 2019, the domestic PVC market gradually shifted from the off-season to the peak season, and prices fluctuated.

According to data from SunSirs, the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,712.5 RMB/ton on July 1, and the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,725 RMB/ton on September 30. The offer price increased by 12.5 RMB, or 0.19%.

5. PVC rose 3.9% in the fourth quarter

In the fourth quarter of 2019, the domestic PVC market rose sharply during the off-season.

The average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6,725 RMB/ton on October 1, and the average domestic mainstream PVC price was 6987.5 RMB/ton on December 24. The offer price increased by 262.5 RMB, or 3.9%.

6. The highest monthly increase is 6.65%

In April 2019, the domestic PVC market price rose from 6432.5 RMB/ton on April 1 to 6,860 RMB/ton on April 30, an increase of 427.5 RMB/ton, which is also the largest monthly increase in 2019 reaching an increase of 6.65%. .

7. The largest monthly decline is 3.61%

In January 2019, the domestic PVC market price fell from 6,575 RMB/ton on January 1 to 6,337.5 RMB/ton on January 31. The largest monthly decline in a single month, and the price fell by 237.5 RMB, a decrease of 3.61%.

8. In 2019, the highest domestic PVC price difference is 842.5 RMB/ton

The lowest point of domestic PVC quotation in 2019 appears from the end of February to the beginning of March.
