According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average domestic LNG price was 5,918 RMB/ton on July 4, and the average domestic LNG price was 5,816 RMB/ton on July 8. Domestic LNG prices fell 1.72% this week.

Analysis review

Domestic LNG prices fell again this week after a slight rise, falling 1.72% for the week. The domestic LNG price rebounded slightly at the beginning of the week, and the decline started in the middle of the week and continued until the weekend. The LNG market was weak this week and end demand was sluggish. Most of the manufacturers lowered their prices, and the market had a strong bearish atmosphere.

As of July 8, the price of LNG in Inner Mongolia was 5,750-5,850 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Shaanxi was 5,850-5,900 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Shanxi was 5,900-6,000 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Ningxia was 5,800-6,020 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Hebei was 5,950-6,100 RMB/ton, and the price of LNG in Henan was 6,050-6,200 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

The liquefied natural gas analyst of SunSirs believes that the current liquefied natural gas market is weak, and there is no good news. The downstream demand is insufficient, the market wait-and-see sentiment has increased, and the downward trend is difficult to change. It is expected that LNG will continue to decline in the short term.
