SunSirs: Bromine Prices Are Weak This Week
July 08 2022 13:50:33()

1、 Price trend

According to the data monitoring of the bulk list of SunSirs, bromine prices were weak this week. At the beginning of the week, the average market price was 58400 RMB/ton, and at the end of the week, the average market price was 58240 RMB/ton, with a decrease of 0.27% and a year-on-year increase of 27.03%.

2、 Market analysis

At present, bromine Shandong enterprises are currently reporting about 57500-58500 RMB/ton. Bromine prices are weak this week. The mainstream quotation of manufacturers is stable and weak. The downstream flame retardant and intermediate industries have generally performed in the recent past, and the support for high price bromine is insufficient. Bromine enterprises have no inventory pressure, and their overall willingness to stabilize prices is relatively obvious.

In terms of raw materials, the domestic sulfur price fell. The average market price at the beginning of the week was about 3466.67 RMB/ton, and the average market price at the weekend was 3166.67 RMB/ton. The price fell by 8.65%, up 92.31% year-on-year. The domestic sulfur quotation is on the high side, and there is resistance in the downstream. At present, the downstream; The phosphate fertilizer and sulfuric acid market is weak, the demand is general, the overall market demand support is insufficient, and the sulfur inventory pressure increases. In order to maintain the delivery rhythm, the enterprise quote is reduced, and the atmosphere in the venue is weak. It is expected that the short-term sulfur market will be weak, and the price may continue to decline.

SunSirs believe that bromine prices have been weak recently. At present, there is no pressure on the inventory of bromine enterprises. The recent performance of bromine downstream flame retardants and intermediates industry is general. Recently, bromine enterprises have started to reduce the load, and there is little room for bromine prices to decline. It is comprehensively expected that the short-term bromine prices are weak, and the operation market will be sorted out. See the downstream market demand for details.
