According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the vinyl cyanide market fell weakly in June. As of June 30, the price of vinyl cyanide was 10,860 RMB/ton, down 5.24% from the price at the beginning of the month.

 Analysis review

The supply side of the domestic vinyl cyanide industry was still in a loose state, and the market offer was gradually lowered. As of June 30, the vinyl cyanide market offer in East China was between 10,600 and 11,200 RMB/ton.

In June, the price of raw material propylene fell all the way, and the cost side weakened. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of June 30, the domestic price of propylene was 7,720 RMB/ton, down 4.46% from the 8,080 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.

Since June, the downstream ABS industry has started construction at around 90%, the acrylic fiber industry has started around 70%, and the acrylamide industry has started at 60-70%. The demand for vinyl cyanide has a certain rigid support. The supply side of vinyl cyanide has continued to be under pressure since June.

Market outlook

The vinyl cyanide analyst of SunSirs believes that on the one hand, there is still pressure on the supply side and downstream demand support is stable; on the other hand, the cost has weakened slightly, and it is expected that the price of vinyl cyanide will fluctuate and fall in the later period.
