Analysis review

On June 27, the spot price of softwood pulp was stable, and the price of pulp futures stopped falling and corrected. On the disk, the opening price of the sp2209 contract was 6,434 RMB/ton, and the closing price was 6,762 RMB/ton, a daily increase of 3.87%.

The outer quotation of softwood pulp was basically unchanged, but there was still an expectation of a decrease in supply, and the spot quotation of Silver Star was still strong. In terms of market demand, although the price of wood pulp fell, it was still at a relatively high level, which continued to compress the papermaking profits of paper mills. The buying market of low-level sources of goods was acceptable, but the market was still dominated by on-demand purchases.

Market outlook

From the third week of June, the decline of wood pulp was more obvious, and the game situation in the pulp market intensified. As the external quotations continued to support the price strategy, the price of wood pulp futures stopped falling and increased. It is expected that the price of wood pulp in the short term will continue to fluctuate.
