Analysis review

In February, the price of methanol rose first and then fell, and the cost of chloroform turned from strong to weak. According to the understanding of SunSirs, as of February 26, the price of methanol was 2,652 RMB/ton, down 1.12% from 2,682 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month; the high point of the month was 2,745 RMB/ton and the low point was 2,580 RMB/ton, with an amplitude of 6.40%.

According to the knowledge of SunSirs, the Jinling Dongying installation was parked in February; the load of the Juhua installation was 50-60%; the new Dongyue installation was put into operation, and the total installation was gradually increased to full capacity; Jiangxi Liwen, Chongqing Tianyuan and other installations were raised to full capacity load……. The supply of chloroform was relatively loose in February.

Although the supply side was loose, the demand for downstream refrigerant stocking in the peak season was strong, which supported chloroform market.

Market outlook

The methane chloride data analyst of SunSirs believes that the chloroform industry chain is currently in a state of tight balance, and there is strong support for chloroform from rigid demand. If there is no significant change in cost, the chloroform market will fluctuate slightly in the later period.
