According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average ex-factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 6,425 RMB/ton on December 20, and the average ex-factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 6,425 RMB/ton on December 27. The price of chlorinated paraffin was stable this week.

Analysis review

This week, the operating rate of chlorinated paraffin enterprises decreased, and the overall market remained stable. As of December 27, the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Anhui was about 6,300 RMB/ton, the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Northeast was about 5,600 RMB/ton, the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in South China was 5,600-6,500 RMB/ton, the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Shandong area was 5,200-6,000 RMB/ton, and the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in East China was about 6,100-6,300 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the price of liquid wax was mixed this week. Enterprises in various regions adjusted their prices flexibly and remained stable overall. In terms of raw material liquid chlorine, the price of liquid chlorine ran steadily this week, the demand decreased, and the market was weak and stable.

Market outlook

The chlorinated paraffin analyst of SunSirs believes that the raw material market was stable this week, the downstream demand was weak, and the transaction volume was average. At present, chlorinated paraffin enterprises are operating at a low level and their supply is decreasing. Under the circumstance of weak supply and demand, chlorinated paraffins are expected to operate weakly and stably in the short term.
