According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average ex-factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 8,133 RMB/ton on November 1, and the average ex-factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 8,000 RMB/ton on November 5. The price of chlorinated paraffin was down 1.64% this week.

Analysis review

The cost support of chlorinated paraffin was insufficient this week, and the price of chlorinated paraffin was lowered. As of November 5th, the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Anhui area was about 7,200 RMB/ton; the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in South China was about 6,800-,400 RMB/ton; the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Shandong was 5,500-7,000 RMB/ton; and the factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in East China was around 7,200-7,500 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the price of liquid wax dropped this week. At present, the shipment of liquid wax is not good, the transaction volume is decreasing, and the inventory is under pressure. In terms of liquid chlorine, the price of liquid chlorine fell this week, the operating rate of enterprises was insufficient, and the transaction atmosphere was weak. In the short term, the market for raw liquid wax and liquid chlorine is weak.

Market outlook

The chlorinated paraffin analysts of SunSirs believe that due to the continued decline in raw material prices this week, the cost support for chlorinated paraffin was insufficient. At present, terminal demand is weak, and the market is mostly taking a wait-and-see attitude. Under the double negative state of cost and demand, it is expected that the market trend of chlorinated paraffin will continue to run downward in the short term.
