On August 30, Shandong Aldehyde Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 5,300 RMB/ton, which was the same as last week. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) was 5,400 RMB/ton including tax, which was 100 RMB/ton lower than last week, the quotations of enterprises rose and then fell and adjusted slightly. The paraformaldehyde market is acceptable, and the manufacturers' quotations are basically stable.

According to the monitoring of SunSirs, this week (8.30-9.2) the average price of domestic methanol from production enterprises in Shandong area was 2,615 RMB/ton, and the quotation is temporarily stable. At present, the upstream coal price has formed a favorable support for methanol, but the demand is relatively mainly rigid. In the short term, the domestic methanol spot market will be consolidated.
