Domestic ferrosilicon (grade: FeSi75～B; particle size grade/mm: natural block) spot quotations rose. The price of ferrosilicon in the main plant area of Ningxia was around 8,600-8,700 RMB/ton on the 17th, and the price of ferrosilicon was around 8,700-8,800 RMB/ton on the 18th.

Analysis review

The spot price of ferrosilicon is still at a high level. Japan Ningxia region issued an early warning notice on the completion of the dual energy control targets in the five cities and Ningdong in the first half of the year, requiring the formulation of rectification plans for inadequate energy management and control, and the adoption of strong policy measures to resolutely reverse the unfavorable situation and tighten production restrictions in Ningxia. As soon as this news came out, the spot price immediately rose.
